Distribution: Neotropical.

Records in Ecuador: Zamora Chinchipe ( San Francisco Biological Reserve) and Loja (andean mountain region of the Loja valley).

Habitat: Leaf litter and forest soil. Abandoned pasture soil. Soil and litter of pine ( Pinus patula).
