Distribution: Neotropical (Cuba, Ecuador).

Records in Ecuador: Zamora Chinchipe ( San Francisco Biological Reserve) and Loja (Podocarpus National ParkCajanuma and andean mountain region of the Loja valley).

Habitat: Leaf litter and forest soil. Litterbags of Puteria sp., Cavendishia zamorensis and Mollinedia sp.
