Distribution: Neotropical: Antillas (Cuba), Ecuador.

Records in Ecuador: Zamora Chinchipe ( San Francisco Biological Reserve and Podocarpus National Park-Bombuscaro) and Loja (andean mountain region of the Loja valley).

Habitat: Bark, litter and the upper soil layer, especially from Graffenrieda emarginata litter. Litter fermentation layer. Soil and litter of pine ( Pinus patula) and degraded forest.
