Remarks: Niedbała & Roszkowska (2016), mentioned on p. 11 that the species is a member of the subgenus Mesoplophora (Parplophora), but in Table 1 of the same article it is erroneously placed in the subgenus Mesoplophora (Mesoplophora) .
