DISTRIBUTION: Egypt east of the Nile, NE Sudan, and Syria south to Yemen and east to Oman.
SYNONYMS: arabica, beden, mengesi, sinaitica.
COMMENTS: Treated as a species distinct from C. ibex by Uerpmann (1987).
