DISTRIBUTION: Philippines: Panay and Negros Isis; formerly also Seguinjor, Guimares, Cebu, Bohol and perhaps other islands.
STATUS: U.S. ESA and IUCN - Endangered.
SYNONYMS: breviceps, masbatensis.
COMMENTS: Included in C. mariannus by Haltenorth (1963). Revised by Grubb and Groves (1983), where treated as a full species.
