Type locality.
“ Fengxian County (33°08'N, 106°05'E), Shaanxi Province ” (China).
Distribution.
This species is known only from the type locality.
Remarks.
We could not locate the type specimens of this species. The original illustration of the holotype is inadequate. Based on the presence of the palatal tubercle, arrangement of apertural barriers, and shell shape, this species must belong to Bensonella (as already suggested by Páll-Gergely and White 2023). The specimens examined by us, collected in Shaanxi province (China) where the type locality of B. fengxianensis is located, may belong to this species, but this cannot be confirmed due to the absence of the type specimen. The same can be said for other samples in the nearby provinces (see Fig. 56).
