Remarks. Linsenmaier (1968) designated the allotype of Hedychridium ibericum, which bears the following labels: España – Toledo Toledo 25.–27.VII.1967 PMF Verhoeff // ♀ Allotype Hedychridium Ab. ibericum Lins. det. Linsenmaier 1968. This specimen cannot be considered as the allotype because it was not included in the original type series, and it was collected after the original description. In the same paper, Linsenmaier (1968) designated other paratypes which cannot be considered part of the type series as well.
