Remarks.

The single deutonymph from Portugal cluster within BOLD: AAU 0701, which includes 11 specimens from Sweden, Norway, and the Netherlands assigned to P. variabilis, available in the BOLD database.

Distribution.

Europe. New record for Portugal.
