Type locality: Ecuador, Huigra, 4500 ft . , vi.1914, leg. Parish. Type specimens: Syntypes 2♂ (a third specimen ♀ is probably the female of this species), BMNH. Distribution: Ecuador (Meyrick 1915b: 234).
