Distribution and remarks.
Originally described from central Spain (Warncke 1967) but found also in Tunisia (Warncke 1980) and the Near East (Warncke 1969, 1976), the species was recently reported from Algeria (Benarfa et al. 2013). The presence of this species in Morocco continues to fill in the distributional gap across North Africa between Spain and the Near East.
