Comments.

Tegenaria is the most speciose genus of Tegenariini Lehtinen, 1967 spiders, currently encompassing 138 valid species, mostly diversified in the Mediterranean region (WSC 2025). In its current composition, the genus is probably not monophyletic (Bolzern et al. 2013). To date, 32 species have been recorded in the Caucasus, with two recently described from Armenia and Georgia (Zamani et al. 2024).
