Taxicera sericophila (BAUDI DI SELVE, 1870)

This species is distributed in South and Central Europe. In the Balkans, it was previously known only from Croatia. Records of this species from Greece have not been published, but the first author has examined numerous specimens collected with subterranean pitfall traps in mainland Greece. The specimen from Corfu represents the first published record from Greece.
