Ammatho (Conicornuta) Volynkin in Volynkin, Huang & Ivanova, 2019, Ecologica Montenegrina 26: 21, figs 15, 16, 111, 167
(Type species: Miltochrista convexa Wileman, 1910, by the original designation).
Diagnosis. The male genital capsule ground plan of species of the subgenus is similar to that of the subgenus Striatella Volynkin & Huang, 2019, but Conicornuta is characterized by the short but robust and bifurcated distal costal process, and the presence of a short medial saccular process. The aedeagus vesica of Conicornuta bears long and robust cornuti unlike Striatella having broad clusters of numerous small short cornuti or granulation. The female genitalia of Conicornuta are characterized by the presence of sclerotized lobes in the posterior section of corpus bursae and in basal section of appendix bursae.
Distribution. Species of the subgenus are known from Taiwan Island, continental China and northern Vietnam.
