Aculus cytisi Labanowski, in Soika & Labanowski 2000

Type host and locality. Cytisus × praecox ( Fabaceae), 'Hollandia' Bean, Poland.

Distribution. England (recorded here) and Poland (op. cit.).

Relation to the host. Vagrant on the foliage, causing no apparent damage.

Collection details. England, North Yorkshire, Nunnington (54° 12ʹ 16.2ʺ N, 0° 58ʹ 51.6ʺ W), high numbers on Cytisus scoparius (L.) Link, collected by R. Hammon, 26.vi.2009.

Additional remarks. Cytisus scoparius is a new host record for this species.
