STATUS. — Excluded.

REMARK. — Species very similar to L. gubernator Hartlaub, 1882, but with the main migration routes and wintering quarters in east and south Africa (del Hoyo & Collar 2016). Reported for W National Park (Balanca et al. 2007), but not further considered as present in Burkina Faso.
