STATUS. — Palaearctic migrant.

REMARK. — This taxon is here considered as a complex including S. cantillans, S. iberica Svensson, 2013 and S. subalpina Temminck, 1820 (Zuccon et al. 2020). The status of the three taxa in Burkina Faso needs revision. A recent revision does not find any S. subalpina records for the country (Piot & Blanc 2017).
