STATUS. — Palaearctic migrant.

REMARK. — This taxon includes M. s. striata (Pallas, 1764) and M. s. thyrrenica Schiebel, 1910. The status in Burkina Faso of the two taxa, considered by some authors (Pons et al. 2016) to be worthy of the species rank, needs revision further assessment.
