Diagnosis. Anterior katepisternal seta absent (Pl. 1G). First and 2nd tarsomeres of male foreleg dorsodistally extended, with sex-combs: 1 st tarsomere with a longitudinal row of 22–29 black, apically blunt teeth along entire length of 1 st tarsomere and a cluster of ca. 6 black, apically sharp teeth distally; 2nd tarsomere with a distal cluster of 3–4 black, apically sharp teeth (Fig. 9A,B). Cercus ventrally truncated, with a fringe of 5–7 spines on ventral margin (Fig. 9C,F). Parameres as long as aedeagus, apically curved ventrad and inward, sometimes cruciate, with several minute warts and sensilla scattered on apical to subapical surface (Fig. 9K–M). Aedeagus long, apically strongly curved ventrad and bearing thick hairs like “mop of hair” (Fig. 9K–M). Spermathecal capsule wrinkled horizontally in basal 1/4 or less, without apical indentation (Fig. 9P).

Mesonotum yellowish brown, with 3 dark brown, longitudinal stripes; medial stripe anteriorly indistinct, caudally broadened; outer stripes interrupted at transverse suture, sometimes very indistinct. Scutellum yellowish brown, laterally brown. Notopleuron pale grayish brown. Thoracic pleura pale yellow to whitish yellow. Acrostichal setulae in ca. 6 irregular rows. Mid katepisternal seta indistinguishable from those below it.

Legs (Pl. 1G, Fig. 9A,B): Apical seta present only on mid-tibia. Midleg 1 st tarsomere subproximally without spine.

Abdomen (Pl. 1E): Tergites nearly entirely black, sometimes anteriorly yellow to yellowish brown, somewhat glossy; tergite II entirely and III anterolaterally yellow to yellowish brown; female tergite VII yellow.

Male terminalia (Fig. 9C–M): Epandrium yellowish brown, nearly entirely pubescent, caudodorsally triangularly notched, with ca. 24 long setae per side. Cercus yellowish brown, with ca. 19 long setae. Surstylus with a row of 15–16 prensisetae on caudal margin and 36–44 recurved setae on ventral portion of inner surface. Tenth sternite pale brown, moderately sclerotized, flat, medially not concaved. Gonopods rectangular in lateral view, dorsoapically without process, but dorsoproximally with small, claw-like projection. Aedeagus basally membranous, submedially to basally sheathed with gonopods.

Female terminalia (Fig. 9N–O): Tergite VIII yellowish brown. Epiproct and hypoproct grayish brown. Oviscapt valve apicodorsally concave in lateral view, apically with 9̄10 and 8̄9 ovisensilla on dorsal and ventral margins, respectively, laterally with ca. 76 minute ovisensilla. Spermathecal capsule slightly broader than long; introvert about 3/4 height of capsule.

Holotype. ♂ (#05610), Yakou Station, Huanglianshan National Nature Reserve, Sanmeng, Luchun, Yunnan, China, ca. 1,900 m a.s.l., 31.x.2016, ex Impatiens sp. (with yellow flowers), J.J. Gao (KIZ).

Paratypes. CHINA: 6♂, 3♀ (#05558, #05559, #05608, #05609, #05611–15), same data as holotype (KIZ); 1♂, 2♀ (#05605–07), same as holotype except for collected by H.W. Chen (KIZ).

Ecological notes. All the specimens of this species were found visiting Impatiens sp. ( Balsaminaceae) flowers (Fig. 1) and collected directly from the flowers by an aspirator.

Distribution. China (Yunnan).

Etymology. From a combination of Greek words “anthos” and “philia” (meaning “love of flowers”), referring to the flower-visiting habit of the new species.

Remarks. This species resembles the foregoing two new species, L. mikioides sp. nov. and L. kimurai sp. nov., in having the particular sex-combs, but can be clearly distinguished from them by the absence of anterior katepisternal seta and the shape of cercus, paramere, gonopods, and aedeagus.
