Lerneca digrediens (Otte, 2006), n. comb.

http://lsid.speciesfile.org/urn:lsid: Orthoptera .speciesfile.org:TaxonName:28195 Amphiacusta digrediens 0tte, 2006: 368.

Type locality. Costa Rica, Heredia, Estacion Biologica La Selva.

The genus Lerneca is well-characterized by its size, morphology and male and female genitalia (Desutter- Grandcolas 1992a). It has but very little in common with Amphiacusta (Desutter-Grandcolas and Otte 1997) . So there is no doubt as to the generic attribution of the species described as Amphiacusta digrediens by Otte (2006): even though the description is so poor that it allows no diagnosis in itself, the habitus of the holotype and its male genitalia (Otte 2006, Fig. 70) fit perfectly Lerneca diagnosis. I propose to transfer A. digrediens to Lerneca .
