The harbour of Orotava (“Puerto de La Orotava” in Spanish) has changed its name to the present-day Puerto de la Cruz. Only a few additional specimens from the Canary Islands (Tenerife and El Hierro) are cited by Mesnil (1973) and Báez et al. (1986).
Distribution. Canary Islands (Spain) (Herting & Dely-Draskovits 1993; Tschorsnig et al. 2004).
