. Holotype M: Forêt du Gallion, French Guiana (MNHP); coll. J. Clastrier; 19 Apr. 1968; no. 3381-1.

Despite all of our efforts, the holotype of Cx. trigeminatus, provisionally deposited in the personal collection of J. Clastrier (Clastrier 1970b: 464), was not found. We consider that this specimen is probably misplaced in the MNHP.
