Material examined. New South Wales: 2 specimens, AM P.36710, Quarantine Bay, Twofold Bay (37°4’42”S 149°53’E), seagrass beds Poisidonia sp., 25 June 1985, coll. S.J. Keable and A.L. Remarks. This is the first record of P. aorangi outside of New Zealand. The species is recorded herein from across the southern coast of Australia.
