Type locality. Egypt. (deposited in ZMHB: Humboldt Museum, Berlin, Germany)

Diagnosis. Length. Body 4.5̄ 6.5 mm, wing 2.9̄ 4.2 mm. Small pale yellowish-grey species; mystax white to yellow bristles; two basal antennal segments pale yellow, flagellum and style black; scutellum with a marginal row of long, erect hairs; femora blackish with yellow apex, tarsi and tibiae pale yellow to pale reddish-yellow, claws black with basal half reddish-yellow, pulvilli normal; cell m3 with relatively long stalk; abdomen grey, tergites with darker spots.

Local distribution. Lower Nile Valley, Eastern Desert, Western Desert, Sinai, Fayoum.

Geographical distribution. Egypt, Iran, Palestine.
