Eudocima colubra (Schaus, 1911)

The separation of this species from E. procus and E. serpentifera is described above. It has been collected from Peru through Columbia, Panama and Costa Rica. We doubt the accuracy of a Zimbabwe label for one specimen (Fig. 6: E) which was obtained from a third party. Like E. serpentifera it feeds on Disciphania calocarpa (Menispermaceae) in Costa Rica (Janzen & Hallwachs 2009).
