Parafedrizzia Womersley, 1959: 51 . Type species: Parafedrizzia buloloensis Womersley, 1959, by original designation. Diagnosis. Both sexes: dorsal shield without large dorsal pores; with ventral and ventrianal shields fused medially, separate laterally; lateral setae on ventrianal shield 20–25 long; exopodal region with spotted pattern; 1–2 pores laterad CxIV, not clustered or in line; seta pv1 on femur III–IV unmodified; spur on palp trochanter without accessory spine; seta av1 on palp trochanter pilose; seta h1 smooth, straight; corniculi on hypostomal tubercles; both non-filamentous cheliceral excrescences ribbon-like with crenate and serrated edges. Female: sternogynial shield an inverted bell-shape, curving outwards anteriorly and bluntly pointed posteriorly. Male: base of tritosternum same form as female; with separate presternal shield bearing setae st1; anterior valve of genital opening smaller than posterior valve, not flanked by pores; CxI same form as female.
