Vernacular Names: Eldorado Broad-nosed Bat.
Distribution: S Venezuela, Guyana, Surinam. Specimens previously reported from Colombia appear to have been misidentified.
Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (nt).
Discussion: May be a synonym of dorsalis; see Jones and Carter (1976).
