Vernacular Names: Handley's Nectar Bat.
Distribution: Ecuador, Peru, possibly SW Colombia.
Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Vulnerable.
Discussion: Formerly confused with robusta; see Hill (1980 a). Colombian record may represent robusta; see Cadena et al. (1998).
