Typhlomyrmex ^HNS Mayr.

This genus is represented by several closely related forms in the Wheeler Collection, and the species seem greatly in need of revision. Presently accepted placement in the Ectatommini does not seem very convincing, but neither does this form fit with the Amblyoponini ^HNS. Morphological investigation is much to be desired, since this genus may prove to hold the key to some very interesting phylogenetic problems.
