Material examined. Dam Bay, mangrove plantation, 2 specimens.

Abundance. Rare.

Measurements. Up to 30 mm (Okutani 2000).

Ecological notes. Occurs on sand, gravel, rocky bottoms and coral reefs in intertidal zone, in shallow water, tide pools, under stones or among seagrasses (Okutani 2000; Takahiro 2005).

In studied sites it was found on mud surface in lowest part of intertidal zone.

Relation to mangroves. Eurybiotic.

Distribution in Vietnam. Central coast, southern delta (Thach 2005).

General distribution. Widely distributed in Indo-Pacific, from Japan to South Africa (Takahiro 2005).
