Material examined. Dam Bay, mangrove plantation, 1 specimen.

Abundance. Rare.

Measurements. Up to 51 mm (Thach 2005).

Ecological notes. On rocky bottoms (Thach 2005). In lower estuarine and marine mangals (Lozouet & Plaziat 2008).

In studied sites it was found on cluster of oysters.

Relation to mangroves. Eurybiotic.

Distribution in Vietnam. Northern-east coast, central coast, southern delta (Thach 2005).

General distribution. Central Indo-West Pacific, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines to Australia (OBIS, 2016).
