Material examined. South China Sea, Nha Phu, about 20 specimens.

Abundance. Common.

Measurements. Up to 22 mm (Raven & Vermuelen 2007).

Ecological notes. In mangrove swamps, on mud in shaded areas and on mangrove trunks (Raven & Vermuelen 2007).

In studied sites it was found on tree trunks as well as on sediment surface between mangrove roots.

Relation to mangroves. Predominantly mangrove-associated.

Distribution in Vietnam. Central coast (Thach 2005).

General distribution. Indonesia, Malaysia (Raven & Vermuelen 2007).
