Material examined. Dam Bay, in mangrove plantations, 2 specimens.

Abundance. Rare.

Measurements. Up to 36 mm (Reid 1986).

Ecological notes. Ovoviviparous species (Reid 1986).

A continental species. Typically on leaves and trunks in Avicennia fringe, also reported on other mangrove trees, on rocks and in marsh grass (Reid 1986).

In studied sites it was found on trunks of mature Rhizophora trees in upper intertidal zone.

Relation to mangroves. Predominantly mangrove-associated.

Distribution in Vietnam. Central coast.

General distribution. Okinawa I. to Singapore (Reid 1986).
