Material examined. Dam Bay, mangrove plantation, 5 specimens.

Abundance. Uncommon.

Measurements. Up to 63 mm (Thach 2005).

Ecological notes. On intertidal rocky bottom (Okutani 2000). In studied sites it was found on rocks and seedling stems in lowest part of intertidal zone.

Relation to mangroves. Eurybiotic.

Distribution in Vietnam. Central coast (Thach 2005).

General distribution. Red Sea; Indian Ocean, throughout the tropical western Pacific (Beu 1998).
