Material examined. Nha Phu Bay, Dam Bay, mangrove plantation, 40 specimens.

Abundance. Common.

Measurements. Up to 6.5 mm (Lozouet & Plaziat 2008).

Ecological notes. Found on mud bottom of the lower estuarine mangals (Lozouet & Plaziat 2008).

In studied sites it was found on mud surface under mangrove trees.

Relation to mangroves. Mangrove-associated (D.G. Reid, personal communication).

Distribution in Vietnam. Central coast (Thach 2005).

General distribution. From Thailand to Philippines. Ceylon and west side of India eastward through the Philippines to Borneo and north to Taiwan (Abbott 1958).
