Material examined. Nha Phu Bay, Dam Bay, mangrove plantation and natural mangroves, 1 specimen.

Abundance. Rare.

Measurements. Up to 45 mm (Thach 2005).

Ecological notes. Fine sand bottom in intertidal zone (Okutani 2000). In studied sites it was found on mud surface under mangrove trees in mid intertidal zone.

Relation to mangroves. Eurybiotic.

Distribution in Vietnam. Central coast.

General distribution. From SE Africa to Fiji Is (Lozouet & Plaziat 2008).
