Stations. Penaeid—1 and 3.

Distribution. Western Atlantic—Central America, Antilles, Colombia, Brazil (from Pará to São Paulo), Honduras, Roatán, and Bay Island. Eastern Pacific—from the Gulf of California to Panamá (Melo 1999).

Ecological notes. Inhabits coastal regions to a depth of 30 m, on rock, and sand substrates (Coelho et al. 1983; Veloso & Melo 1993).
