Material examined. Petro-UFS—16 (9 M, 2 F, 3 OF); size range: 16.00 ≤ CW ≤ 24.47 mm; average: CW = 20.01 ± 2.60 mm; CZUFS CRU- 00054.

Stations. Petro-UFS—6, 8, and 9.

Distribution. Western Atlantic—Florida, Gulf of Mexico, Antilles, Colombia, and Brazil (from Pará to Espírito Santo) (Melo 1996).

Ecological notes. Lives between 20 and 80 m. Found on gravel, shells, corals, and calcareous algae bottoms (Melo 1996).
