Ericerodes minusculus (Coelho, 1972)

Material examined. Petro-UFS—3 M; size range: 6.53 ≤ CW ≤ 6.82 mm; average: CW = 6.69 ± 0.15 mm; CZUFS CRU- 00121. Penaeid—1 M; CW = 3.35 mm; CZUFS CRU- 00241.

Station. Petro-UFS—12; Penaeid—3.

Distribution. Western Atlantic—Brazil (from Ceará to Bahia, including the banks off Rio Grande do Norte) (Coelho 1967 /1969, 1971, 1972, 2006; Coelho & Ramos 1972; Barreto & Coelho 1994; Melo 1996, as Podochela minuscula; Coelho et al. 2008, as E. minusculus).

Ecological notes. Found between 20 and 60 m, on sand, and calcareous algae bottoms (Melo 1996).

Remarks. Coelho (2006) transferred Podochela minuscula to Ericerodes Rathbun, in a revision of the genus Podochela .
