Material examined. Petro-UFS—13 (4 M, 2 F); size range: 8.08 ≤ CW ≤ 12.08 mm; average: CW = 9.77 ± 1.60 mm; CZUFS CRU- 00106. Penaeid—15 (6 M, 2 F, 7 OF); size range: 8.98 ≤ CW ≤ 13.69 mm; average: CW = 11.06 ± 1.22 mm; CZUFS CRU- 00233.

Stations. Petro-UFS—5 and 12; Penaeid—3 and 5.

Distribution. Western Atlantic—Brazil (from Piauí to Espírito Santo) (Melo 1996; Serejo et al. 2006; Coelho et al. 2008).

Ecological notes. From 20 to 50 m depth. On calcareous algae bottoms (Melo 1996).

Remarks. The specimens sampled by Coelho (1972) were collected in four stations at northeastern of Brazil: one in Ceará, two in Pernambuco and one in Sergipe.
