Distribution. Western Atlantic—Antilles and Brazil (from Rio Grande do Norte to São Paulo) (Melo 1996, as Parthenope (Platylambru s) guerini).

Ecological notes. On sand and calcareous algae bottoms, from 15 to 30 m (Melo 1996).
