Material examined. Petro-UFS—11 (6 M, 2 J); size range: 5.96 ≤ CW ≤ 15.2 mm; average: CW = 11.24 ± 3.43 mm; CZUFS CRU- 00078. Penaeid—31 (15 M, 11 F, 4 OF, 1 NS); size range: 3.78 ≤ CW ≤ 21.00 mm; average: CW = 9.44 ± 4.10 mm; CZUFS CRU- 00242.

Stations. Petro-UFS—15; Penaeid—3, 4, 6, 8, and 9.

Distribution. Western Atlantic—Gulf of Mexico (USA), Antilles, Brazil (from Amapá to Rio Grande do Sul) (Melo 1996).

Ecological notes. From depth between 24 to 340 m. On mud and coral bottoms (Melo 1996). Associated with the Bryozoa Schizoporella unicornis in southeastern Brazil (Alves et al. 2013).
