Material examined. Penaeid—7 M; size range: 5.92 ≤ CW ≤ 10.18 mm; average: CW = 8.15 ± 1.72 mm; CZUFS CRU- 00250.
Stations. Penaeid—3, 6, and 8.
Distribution. Western Atlantic—USA (South Carolina, Florida, and Gulf of Mexico), Brazil (from Pará to Santa Catarina) (Melo 1996, 1998; Coelho et al. 2008).
Ecological notes. From intertidal to 5 m. On sand, broken shell, and rocks bottoms, also among sponges, squirts and bryozoans (Melo 1996). Associated with the Bryozoa Schizoporella unicornis in southeastern Brazil (Alves et al. 2013).
