Rotundabaloghia rwandae Hirschmann, 1984: 25 .
Material examined. One female, Uganda, Kabana Gap, Ichuya Forest Reserve, secondary mountain forest, Redescription. Female. Length of idiosoma 450 µm, width 380 µm (n=1). Shape circular, posterior margin rounded.
Dorsal idiosoma (Fig. 1). Marginal and dorsal shields fused anteriorly. Surface of dorsal shield with alveolar ornamentation. All dorsal shield setae distally pennate (Fig. 2).
Ve n t r a l idiosoma (Fig. 3). Tritosternum with narrow base, laciniae with one long central branch and several narrow lateral branches. Sternal shield without ornamentation, sternal shield setae short, smooth and needle like. Genital shield scutiform, with alveolar ornamentation, anterior margin with finger-like process. Posterior ventral shield with alveolar ornamentation. Ventral seta V2 shorter than other ventral setae, needlelike; V6 long, smooth and needle-like; V7 and V8 as long as V6, but distally pennate; V8 situated near the metapodal line; V4 as long as V2. Stigmata situated between coxae II and III. Peritreme hook-shaped.
Gnathosoma . Internal malae long and smooth. Hypostomal setae h1 long, smooth, setiform; h2 short, setiform, with basally serrated margins; h3 smooth, setiform, as long as h2; h4 shorter than h3, setiform, marginally serrated. Apical margin of labrum serrated. Basal part of epistome with three pairs of spines, apical part with two short branches which bear short hairs. Chelicerae not clearly visible. Palps with smooth simple setae, except two ventral setae on trochanter finely denticulate.
