Material examined. 1♀, LepsocAfrica CRG, Staude et al. (2016), M255, Gelechiidae reared on Phyllanthus nummularifolius, Phyllantaceae, Casketts darm, South Africa, Limpopo, Hoedspruit, 24˚20’36’’S, 31˚09’07’’E, 24.iv.2013 eclosed (A. & I. Sharp) (gen. slide 193/20, O. Bidzilya) (HSS).

Biology. Larvae were observed feeding on Phyllanthus nummularifolius and Ph. reticulatus (Phyllantaceae) in April. Adults emerged 24.iv (Staude et al. 2016: 67, 68).
