Type material.

Holotype: ♂, [China] yellow label: Li-Kiang, ca 4000 m, Prov. Nord Yuennan, 2.8.1935, H. Hӧne / red label: Holotypus/ white label Hermonassa dictyota Brsn. ♂. Boursin det./ Preparation No194 CH. Boursin/. Deposited in ZFMK, Bonn, Germany, examined.

Distribution and biology.

Hermonassa dictyota is known only from its type locality, Likiang, Prov. Yunnan, southwest China. The holotype and several paratypes of both sexes were collected from beginning of August to mid- September 1935 at altitude 2000-4000 m.
