T y p e d e p o s i t i o n: Holotype 585/ 1 in the Institute of Parasitology, Biology Centre of the Czech Academy of Sciences, České Budějovice, Czech Republic.
D i s t r i b u t i o n: Austria, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, Moldova, Crimea, and Azerbaijan. Here this species is recorded for the first time in Spain.
H o s t s: Eptesicus serotinus (Schreber), Myotis daubentonii (Kuhl), Myotis myotis (Borkhausen), Plecotus auritus (Linnaeus), P. austriacus, Pipistrellus pipistrellus ( Chiroptera: Vespertilionidae), R. ferrumequinum, Rhinolophus hipposideros (Bechstein) ( Chiroptera: Rhinolophidae), Arvicola terrestris (Linnaeus) ( Rodentia: Cricetidae). Here this species is recorded for the first time from Pipistrellus kuhlii . In Spain this host species roosts in crevices of buildings, rocks and trees, as well as tree hollows and bat-boxes (Ibañez 1998).
