Cycloramphus heyeri Segalla et al., 2021 is a replacement name for Cycloramphus carvalhoi Heyer, 1983, preoccupied by Cycloramphus carvalhoi (Izecksohn, 1983 “1982”) (see above). Consequently, the holotype and paratypes of Cycloramphus heyeri Segalla et al., 2021 are the same designated by Heyer (1983) for C. carvalhoi .
