Diagnosis.

Qiongthela males can be distinguished from those of all other Heptathelinae genera by the blade-like conductor narrowing towards the tip (Figs 2A-D, 3A-E, 4A-G, 6A-E), and by the tegulum bearing two obvious apophyses (Figs 2A-E, 3A-E, 4A-E, 6A-E). Qiongthela females differ from those of all other Heptathelinae genera by two paired receptacular clusters with numerous granula (Fig. 5A-H) (Xu et al. 2017b).
