Paratype male with labels: (1) printed on white label: “Wolong / 82.7”; (2) handwritten on yellow label: “collector Anxiao Deng ”; (3) printed on yellow label: “ PARATYPE ”; (4) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ Hydrophoria megaloba / Identifier: Zide Fan ”; (5) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ TYPE / Hydrophoria / megaloba / Li et Deng ” .

Preservation: pinned; genitalia dissected and mounted on the first label.

Additional notes: Labels of the paratype pinned by Anxiao Deng, but the date and the place of collection on the labels (Wolong / 82.7) do not match with the information in the original publication (1980. XIII Dacheng Temple, 2300 meters above sea level).
